The point of the new 2257 regs is not to protect anyone, but as a way to finally get those they want to get.
So if you're a throat gagging site, water sports site, maybe even a teenie site I think if you're even remotely on their radar they will come and check you out.
Obscenity cases have been filed in recent years, but they have lost them. This now will allow them a back up prosecution if they can't get the obscenity conviction.
It allows them to go through everything with a fine tooth comb and when you miss one thing bam, they have you.
It's no different than the zoning hassles they put adult companies through during the 80's. Just the beuracratic process a lone put a lot of people out of business, and this is having a similar effect. How large? We won't know until it's over.
