Yes I am drunk and pissed off so if you want to flame have at it.

Here is what happened tonight.

Background: I used to be a general manager of a bunch of clubs up north. I work security/management at a few local bar here and there. A lot of my friends did/do security work at clubs.
Enough said about that.

Lastnight/this morning we met up a local bar/pub for a few drinks and to listen to a friends band play. All was good doing bombs and drinking beer. One friend notices a couple of guys that have never been around before. We are sitting at the bar which is "L" shaped in our corner. It has enough room for about 12 people comfortably. We were bullshitting and all and the friend who noticed the guys said to one friend to watch his shit while he went out to his truck.

He did not let the rest of us in on the secret and these 2 guys come up to the bar in our section and for all the rest of us knew were ordering drinks. What they were really doing was acting like they were ordering drinks while taking our buddies money off the bar.

Once we were made aware of this we went ourside with the 2 guys to ask them about it. (Yes the bar has security cameras that would be enough proof should we had needed it.) They denied everything. We were not surprised. Then after a few other people showed up wanting to know what we were up to the one guys takes off running. He runs straight across a busy road and gets hit by a car. His friend trys to pick a fight and ends up getting beat pretty bad.

Once everything was done we all went back into the bar. The cops come in and start to ask questions. We explain what we "know". The guy half beaten tells the cops we threw his friend into the road as he is loaded onto an ambulance. We explain to the cops that the guy stole money from our friend and try to gain support for our actions.

The local police seem OK with what we did and don't really care about much. 30 minutes or so later state police show up and want to arrest my buddies and me for assault and what not. The owner of the bar expalins what happened and the cops don't care.

I went to the bathroom and come back out and the cops are cuffing my buddies. I go up to them and the cops tells me if I don't want to go to jail to back off. The bar owner comes around and grabs me and tells me to back off. I tell the cop I will be at the jail to get my friends out. He then explains that the guy who ran from us ended up dying at the scene and my friends were being charged with the crime.

This is total BULLSHIT. The guy died because he was a thief. He stole and got caught and tried to run and died. He went quicker by getting hit by the car then he would have if he was caught by my friends but the cops got pissed at me when I told them he got what he deserved.

I now have to wait until Monday to get my friends out of jail on a bullshit charge. He stole and committed suicide in my opinion. Even with the help of the bar owner trying to call in favors we could not get them out.

I live in a redneck town and certain things are settled without the need for law enforcement. I am from a large city originally and do not consider myself a redneck but I do think that if the community can solve a problem without the need to bother the police then they should.

Anyways this is my drunken rant. Fuck people who steal. Fuck stupid people. Fuck Fuck Fuck.
