Hello, again, Aly --
I just want to say this is a difficult place in which to be visible -- doubly-so when that visiblity is a part of your business persona, and an accountable one.
I have on GFY seen what have appeared to me at the moment I observed them to be terrible cruelties, terrible violences of spirit, and an appropriation of the medium's capacity to provide concealment for the wicked that goes beyond the dastardly (ooh, there's a lovely britword).
To be honest with you, in many of those cases, I still don't know whether the injuries and transgression I observed were "real" -- but then, what is "real" -- and you can follow that thinking in a loop all the way around again -- forever.
Suffice it to say this: There are some people I have met in the business whom I know from chiefly live, personal interactions, others from mainly this exotic e-zoo called GFY, and a quite small number whom I would say I know both HERE and THERE -- Aly among them.
The value of character consistency is an old and well-established one . It's the sort of thing you'd expect grandmothers to impart to young children on their laps --
BASIC.
In this day and age, the perils of character inconsistency extend to an entirely different universe of existence and landscape of action.
Though I know that it is usually wise to make use of opportunities to veil your meaning or permit veiled meanings to stand, it's not a thing I really feel comfortable with or have the talent for -- I am a fool, often.
To Aly Drummond I wish to say
"Very, very, very consistent, hun* -- both HERE and THERE.
This suggests to me not only that Aly is a solid human in the old-fashioned way her grandmother would have approved of, but also that she is one of a very few PROGRESSED
e-beings I have met who navigate both the realms of our lives while remaining always herself, and in my opinion, always a person of enormous truth.
Thank you for the friendship you have showm me, Aly --
*hard to pick the right endearment term, since my affections for Aly are complex
