How about making a thread per day? That lets us have the topic at hand and prevents us from possibly missing pertinent information that we may otherwise overlook.

how about we just have a 2HP irc class room of the day
Selected people get to sit down and ask questions etc and someone can log the whole "class" and host it some where for everybody to read
