Exactly, I can't tell you how many people I know who got tattoos at 18 and now look back and say, WTF was I thinking?
Don't do the stock flash on the wall. Don't do tribal. While both can be fine I'd suggest that you use something unique about you that reflects your heritage or something else about you that will never change.
