For sure a sad day. Affects me directly. There is going to come a point where the people have had it with losing rights and start paying attention to local politics too. Some politians will loose bad. There is an area that will go unnamed, but the stench of the "good ole boy network" would kill a horse. Fine if you're an insider I guess. You realize that in many states this prolly means they can take your property at assit value as listed on your realestate taxes. RIP!!!! So now you 54 acres is what?? 100k$????? Depends on where you are and how they value land for taxes. Why not just do it str8 up and lower the percentage of tax? Never really made sense to me here in the midwest.
