Some of the best restaurants in the world (least according to the guides) are located in obscure locations, - but very nice places, and the cost is very moderate in comparison with London (hell, much the same with any city!).
I always wondered what a US person who ever bought a basic Big Mac in London thought of this pathetic culinery experience for the price they charge!
