I talked to Santeria and asked him if I could post my talk on ICQ with him;
"we're still trying to figure out how these movies got in our system... we have 80 dvd liscenses, i think we're going to shut down for a day or two and make sure all these movies are removed"
"yeah, one of our employees used the wrong dvds, we're still trying to figure out who... they were buying dvds before we bought the liscenses to make sure they were good and we're thinking they put the wrong ones up... we'll post something when we know for sure though
we spent a lot of money on these liscenes, we obviously didn't do this on purpose... there's no way i would condone stealing content"
... was Santeria's ICQ message to me; either way, if it was them or not, they're still liable.
And something he's missing is, it's not simply a matter of DVDs, content would of had to of been downloaded from many different content producer's sites (some of which don't even license out their content) and then put it online.
It's hard to know what to believe.
