I'm doing a total redesign and re-make of my main website this summer, I'm also building up a new paysite for one of my friends.

Since I want the best possible results, I wonder what size of the pictures in the members area galleries are the standard now. What's a normal size, and what's considered a very nice size on the pictures?

Until now I have only had 800x600, I was thinking of increasing to 1280x1024 or more, but seems like my camera (Canon 20D) makes "widescreen" pics, so that would make it 1500x1000 for example.. Or 1200x800...

If the pics are too big for the member's screen, my script will automatically adjust it so he won't have to scroll ofcourse...

Anyone have a recommended size that would make both surfers and affiliates happy and think "WOW"..?
