I was living in LA for the '94 quake. My place was destroyed and my stuff ruined and I thought I was a gonner, having been thrown out of my bed without the slightest warning at quarter to 5 in the morning.
Give me weather over earthquakes everytime. Even a Hurricaine gives you almost a week warning...
