Glad to see you obly got some brusing instaed of a bunch of broken bones.
I wear my seat belt only in the city.
On the highway I don't wear it, I would rather take my chances flying out of the car than staying in it at highway speeds.
When I broke my back and neck 25 years ago I was not wearing my seat belt and I got bounced clear of the car, bounced down the highway at great speed, if I would have been wearing my seat belt I would have stayed in the car and would be dead the passenger side of the car where I was sitting was completely crushed. The RCMP said there was no way I would have survived if I had not been bounced out of the car.
But everyone else please wear your seat belts it can save yoru life, while you may get really hurt you probably won't get killed.
