Alot of the people in this industry don't realize they're breaking obscenity laws in their own states... You think you know so much? Post a list of your adult web sites and I guarentee you have some already breaking the current laws, we all do... how many people talking shit in this thread know the regulations regarding how your 2257 compliance and producers contact info is displayed on your sites? Font size in relation to the font on the rest of the page, etc... It's all in the existing regulations, how many people have bothered to read it in it's entirety on the DOJ site?

He asked a perfectly valid question... Instead of being professional and trying to help, you decide to take the school yard bully mentality to try and sound important on an internet message board by putting him down. It's sad.

Who's the better businessman? I'd say it's the guy asking questions and trying to learn, not the guy that comes up with smartass comments to try and make himself sound important.
the better businessman is the person who takes this shit seriously and has his business in order... not the idiot asking for cliff notes on GFY. Bush has made it clear that his government is coming after porn. 2257 is the first step in giving them ammo to start prosecuting. if you think the idea of safety in numbers is a sound legal strategy... thats your problem. you will be admired by sheep and wildebeasts everywhere.

the fact that there are many idiots in the USA ignorant of state and local obscenity laws and how many people are or are not in compliance and how many people have and have not been arrested has nothing to do with fully understanding the law and making sure you are in compliance.

if you think its a smart idea to ask stupid questions on GFY about complex legal matters when you already know that you are asking a bunch of retarded idiots that would be flipping burgers if HTML was only a little bit harder to learn... then i would say the problem is with you and him... not me.
