No mater how you look at it, it's rather odd that a huge plane only did that small amount of damage.

You realize the Pentagon probably has more physical infrastructure, strength and internal protection than any other building in the world right? The Pentagon also has the largest foundation and understructures in the world. The building is pretty much bulletproof and can handle multiple missile strikes. Does it surprise me a passenger aircraft didn't cause more damage to one of the world's strongest and best designed structures? no.
