indeed they do ... england find it difficult to hold the ball, for example. both beckham and ferdinand said the same thing. they got to the quarter finals. they couldn't get the ball off of brazil the other day, and when they did get it, they didn't have it for long. same goes for them in the second half of their game against argentina.
those ten minutes of the second half of usa/germany were about the only 10 minutes that i watched before i got sick of it and turned the channel over. most people wouldn't sit there and watch it, unless it was their home country playing. for everyone else watching, how long can that performance continue? the channel has to change at some point. maybe the usa were suddenly soccer kings as soon as i flicked the channel over, but i base the views on what i saw.
usa still did better than expected, of course, as did a lot of other teams. just that a LOT of teams need to perfect their skills in various areas... and saudi arabia need to work on ALL areas of their game. ;)
but if you're intent to flame me for flaming the usa, and a few other teams (including my own home team), then go ahead...
