I'd sure like to know the answer to this as well.
Thought I would try uploading some sample files off my home pc one day...could hardly get anyone to download from me and those that did ended up getting cancelled.
I tried XP Pro SP2, XP Pro no SP, Win98 without luck. Also used limewire, edonkey, kazaa, etc. I tried with a router as well as no router.
It was just a test so never really followed through on this, but would also like to know why this didn't work.
