Get traffic up to at least 100 to 500 uniqes a day on each. The higher the better.
That'll give you an ad base network of 10,000 to 50,000 uniques a day. The key is to have a good sized network. Its hard selling ads on individual small sites, but combined you have a traffic presence that advertisers will buy as a package placement.
