NE is a rough part of town. what are your major cross streets?

I can imagine that being a prime target area and I thought about it quite often while driving through the town.
Take New York New York (the hotel/casino) for instance.
They have over 2,000 rooms in that hotel alone...that could be up to 8,000 registered guests not to mention the visitors in the amusement areas, the casinos, resteraunts etc.
If they were able to take out the one hotel imagine the kind of physical, emotional and financial devestation that would cause...let alone take out that block including the overflow of people out on the strip.
There aren't too many places in this country where you could find as high a concentration of people as you can on the Strip on a regular day vs a regular summer weekend...I can't imagine what it will be like there the 4th of July.
