neither team played good. brazil didn't deserve to win. but then, neither did england. and england didn't produce the shots on goal. brazil didn't look oh-so in control, they didn't really dominate as predicted and played average, if that. england didn't play great either... because its a sad day for english football when they can't produce chances. all things considered... in the end, someone has to win. so congratulations to brazil.
there were some negative factors in the england side. there were injury worries, and the side are quite young.
seaman is a great goalkeeper... calm, focused, and keeps ahold of the ball. unlucky way to end his world cup career (on a 1 to 10 scale of fluke, that goal was a 15) ... but some people are quick to forget, the only reason england were in the quarter finals? well... a big factor in england's success leading up to today's game is the collection of EXCELLENT saves by seaman. but one small mistake and he is crucified... for what its worth, the critics can shut the fuck up.
i know that i'll cheer for seaman.
