Man I would have pooped myself if I was in a plane that dropped that much that fast. My worst one was Vegas this year coming home. It took forever to get off the ground. Then once we were in the air it just didn't feel right. We weren't really climbing as high as you would expect for a flight out of McClaren. The the Capt. came over the radio and told everyone that the light indicating the door of the plane was on... Talk about an oh shit moment. So he then says we have to land ASAP, and it would be an emergency landing, freaking wonderful... So we get on the ground without the cabin de-pressurizing, which was a welcome relief...lol The sensor had failed, so it was a false alarm. The Pilot did the right thing and executed it perfectly.
I might add that this happened AFTER a few hour delay due to some heavy storms on both coasts, so it really was icing on the cake for that flight.
I also might add that when we landed in Dayton the door was stuck shut, we had to unload on the runway from a ladder at the back of the plane...
