My theory is that big site owners, in large, don't give a fuck, actually a THINNING of the heard should increase their profits...why fight something that is going to make them more money?
Less competition from less than professional part timers, and less access to free porn...in theory could mean more cash for them...
Sure they know in concept that the law is seriously overstepping...but they got to those big dollars by looking after their own self interest...I think they're just doing more of the same this time...
A rare few biggies will join the fight the other biggies will just watch and roll with the punches...as for me, I quit host nude images years ago and sleep pretty well today...
However, I'm still concerned to watch as these freedoms continue to be stomped on, sure the adult net needed some cleaning up, some more 'get your ass together professionally'...but the intent of this overstepping upgrade of 2257 seems pretty clear, the proof will be in the pudding. I'm curious to see how they exercise these new terms in the coming months/year... :/
