You guys want to know how I make pie? I'm no baker by a long shot..... for me it's all about the barbecue, and cooking food, meals, steaks, roasts, burgers, stews etc. But baking? Forget it.

So.... whenever I've felt the need to make pies, I go to the grocery store and.... well, this is a might embarassing here...... I either BUY a few ready-made pies from the frozen section, OR.... I buy a few packs of those ready-made piecrust shells. Then I buy some fillings, apple pie filling, cherry pie filling, whatever. THEN I go home and make the pies.

Those piecrust shells usually come in packs of three, so buy two packs.... three for the pie bottoms, and three to make the tops. :D

Assemble the three pies..... oh for fuck sakes pour the pie fillings into the shells, cover them with the other shells, preheat the oven to what, 350? I don't know, 350 sounds fine to me.... then shove the pies in. Wait about 15 minutes and then turn down the oven heat to 300 or so.... then wait another 20 or 30 minutes. WATCH THOSE FUCKING PIES, don't burn em. If you see the crust edges getting a bit brown then it's getting to be time to shut down the heat.

Let em cool down for a bit, then get on top of your favorite one and start fucking it. :D
