Not likely...
Copied from the VCH forum:
"iFriends never has, and never will, disclose a chathost's sensitive personal information to ANYONE, for ANY REASON, unless we are compelled to do so by a court of law (for example, we routinely assist federal and local law-enforcement agencies who are investigating credit-card fraud ... yes, some of the credit-card cheats on iFriends have gone to jail ...)
As to 18-2257, the regulations actually work to further protect and safeguard your own privacy with respect to relationship with iFriends. They are a PLUS, not a negative. The regulations do not go into effect until late June, and we will have information in greater detail for all hosts before then.
But suffice to say, the status quo will PREVAIL, your personal information will continue to be PROTECTED more vigorously than the Gold in Fort Knox, and changes in regulations will have ZERO IMPACT upon your iFriends life. (That's why iFriends is here -- to take care of administrative and record-keeping headaches so you don't have to, and so you don't have to worry about stalkers because your home address is kept under lock and key.)
If you think about it, better recordkeeping regulations are a GOOD thing ... they are designed to target those services that are the *opposite* of iFriends; services with zero record-keeping ... services that let kids on and let kids get naked ... whereas iFriends, with its extensive 18+ ID Card gauntlet, assoicated documentation and proof-of-ages on file for more than 40 millions pictures & movies, is the *example* the government would like to see other services follow.
Stay tuned, we'll have more detailed information available as regulations go into effect in late June. "
