I can see how you feel that way. the thing for us, is that one way or another we find a way to make what we want. In the northern parts of Mexico, it is very dry, and dirty. The people hate Americans, but will kiss your ass in some ways to get the money.
We plan on eventually going south in Baja to La Paz. If you want to see a great place, look that one up. The only draw back is that it is an 18 hour drive from the US border.
