Steroids, are they becoming more accepted in society?

For quite a while the media has been focusing attention on steroids. You hear stories about 300,000 highschool students doing steroids in 2004, and girls as young as 9 taking steroids, and like everything we become habituated, and it all becomes second nature. There are even sites popping up on the net like http://www.steroidking.com and http://www.united-pharmacy.com/ selling this shit to the public.

I honestly dont care if someone does steroids, cause it's their own body, and it's better than them smoking. I saw an episode of Conan with Chris Rock, and Chris Rock said something like, "If there was a pill that you could take where you would be better at your job, wouldn't you take it?". This is very true, pornstars in the adult industry pop viagra like it's pez, lawyers and doctors ingest lots of caffeine in order to stay awake, so what is wrong with athletes taking steroids to get better?

What are your thoughts?
