What should I do when someone gets a check for 10 bucks and it never gets deposited?
Check with your bank... most states etc have a time limit on checks... 90 days, 6 months etc then you can cancel them. We used to have it printed right on our checks when we had to cut lots of them each month. Just to let people know it will be a dead issue after such and such date so they didn't cry about bank fees they had to pay out.
We've had bills not show up too. Pain in the butt straightening it out if they even entertain the idea it could have been late getting to us. Better ones are the ones that come and are due the next day and were mailed 2 days previous.
