My Dad was born in 1937, right smack in the middle of the KZ Dachau.. He always told me that he didn't know any different. 3 hours of wait to go to the bathroom, if you peed yourself they cut your weenie off in front of everybody. My dad was released in 1944..
We are Gypsies and not Jews.
The kids were mainly used for testing.. So he lived.. I guess he was not a weakling like you suggest. At least he made it,, and my Grandmother made it too. (She passed in 1987)
But hey what do I know.. I couldn't do it. I read a lot of what my dad wrote in articles and stories over the years for the Gypsy community I grew up in. I can also guess how it had to been.
