I guess it boils down to whether you like package A or package B
Package A
"Free" economy where 5% owns 80% of the wealth and 50% of the population lives below the poverty line and 30% is working class. 15% middle class and 5% elite.
Some free healthcare. Some free education. Shelves are stacked with expensive goods (for the mass of people to afford)
(This is the Philippines... where I am currently based)
Package B
Everyone is above the poverty line but barely. No middle class. Communist elite.
Free Healthcare. Universal education. Rationed economy. Crappy product availability/selection.
This is Cuba.
