Sometimes shit happens and if you pick the wrong door to be a fool at well, Darwin wins and the gene pool is a little bit cleaner. I think you were justified to shoot, particularly after a warning or two. Sucks to be forced to make that decision, though...

I am going to re-iterate something for ya. What you described is reckless endagerment and possible manslaughter. There is no cause to inflict lethal force so long as the deadbolt does it's job. The problem lies where it gets broken in. Then you betcha I'm firing away. |
