In truth, Colin and the companies he was working with were the
only major players that got involved with tgp2 to any large extent. Yes, there ae other sponsors offering deals to tgp2 webmasters, myself included, but no one else had the resources or desire to push as hard as they did. Jealousy of that was more to blame for the split than anything else.
Fact remains that TGP2 is a viable freesite model that has been around almost a year. Ask the people making big checks from tgp2bucks or anyone running one of the larger tgp2 sites if they think the concept is dead. Like anything else that's maturing, there have been some bumps on the road but that's to be expected. Making your counter spin might look pretty but like ratios it doesn't mean shit if you don't take home the $$$ at the end of the day.
