I know this biz is based upon contacts, just like any other biz... What's the best way to get the "big guys" to push your site?

Exactly that. Contacts. Ask what you do for them, not the other way around. It helps to meet them. In person. You already are only a few links in a network away from anyone in this business.

Unlike the six degrees of separation of the entire world, there are more like two degress of separation in this business.

How will you act when you meet the "Big Boys"? You can't start right in with "Guess what I have!" Become friends first. We all have a lot in common. Offer something.

Everything changes when you meet people in person. It is imperative to go to conferences. Try Miami in August. See ya there.
