It seems as though we - as a collective business - Adult Online - have NO lobbying and no voices speaking for us in Washington. Certainly the online adult industry is not large in terms of numbers of providers of materials and online services in the grand sceme of things - but - economically it does amount to a substantial chunk of $$$. It seems that there should be more up-front focus and exposure to get our points across - presenting them in a better way instead of always fighting fires that happen in retrospec.
With all due respect, not so. The Free Speech Coalition has hired a Washington lobbyist, Aubrey King, and I sat next to him at the FSC meeting in Woodland Hills a week or so ago when the attorneys took questions about 2257. Boy, were his eyes opened. We certainly hope he's going to be effective, but I can assure you at the very least that he is motivated!

If you want to help him help you, donate to the FSC 2257 Legal Fund, and while you're at it, join the FSC!
