Its not bad, its your run of the mill stuffy hotel. There is better in Chicago. I used to spend alot of time there when Arthur Anderson was still in business and friends working there would be staying at the Palmer House there since Anderson's offices were on the next block over.

If you have time, I'd reserve a room at either one of the two W Hotels or the new Hard Rock Hotel on Michigan Avenue.
