why would you ever want a gun in your house when there are little kids.. you are assuming the fact one day that something bad will happen - there are other preventative measures.
like an alarm system, a dog, bat, etc. Why choose a gun?
Accidents DO happen - i think some people forget stuff like that.. but at the same time, I do agree with the Constitution, firearms are OK, but if I ever ever had a child in my home, the first thing to go would be a firearm. - this is just my opinion
More children die in swimming pools every year in the United States than they get shot. No, I'm not saying that you should feel willy-nilly having a gun with kids in the house. Like I said, I DIDN"T have one in the apartment cause I was babysitting. The point is people need to be RESPONSIBLE with them. Yes there are people who own guns who are careless with them. But there are a lot more people who are licensed drivers who should NEVER be behind the wheel. The entire city of LA comes to mind.
