There used to be a time when "big programs" only wanted to use 3rd party because they were not responsible for the chargebacks and they did not want to mess with customer service.
Now that visa put the clamps down on 3rd party processors they have to be more responsible and cancel people when they want canceled, watch cross selling and other tricks that used to be used so commonly.
as for cust. support, netbilling makes it a no brainer. they have a call center that will handle it for you. There is nothing to pull off, its just about being responsible.
