Well, about two hours ago I left my office and went into the den to feed it and discovered that it had broken out of its cage. I began searching through the house which led me to the bedroom.
I learned that my wife is missing from her bed, but more importantly our Min Pin was missing also.
I dialed 911 and a single officer arrived. When I explained the situation to him, he called for back up.
We did another search of the house and didn't find our dog or my wife, but we did find the Tarantula.
It went into attack mode and dug its fangs into one of the officers, so the other officers shot it. It took 16 rounds to bring it down.
I am just grief stricken about the loss of my beloved Min Pin. I knew I needed a stronger cage, but yesterday was Sunday and the Pet shop was closed.
Oh yeah, I will miss my wife too.
