I didnt even post in the other threads , i just stated a fact , she won , she is canadian , anyone who disagrees with that fact has a mental problem or is so nationalistic they cant see straight..
On one hand you say nationalistic bandwagon jumping is bad , but in the very next statement you say canada didnt win, she did.. I'm not sure if you watched the competition , but CANADA WON. You might have a hard time realizing that but its true

I would have to agree w/ smokey here...it was the "MISS UNIVERSE" pageant and she IS "MISS CANADA" she was representing CANADA as well as herself.
and what's this bs about "true" canadians?? aren't we all immigrants? From what I recall the history books say that no one is a "true" canadian..
