Europe is like early America before we had a constitution. just 13 countries ina lose confederation where the Federal government was basically non-existant. A person for N Carolina wanted to go to S Carolina's he needed to trade his N Car money for S. Carolina money and then if he went to Georgia he had to trade his S Car money for Georgia money and so on. And there were other problems because there wasn't a central government to speak of. America wasn't even remotely a player on the world stage before it's Constitution was ratified.

Europe is about the size of the US and has almost 3 times the people and if you'd get your act together you could be a world power just as powerful if not more so than the US. Good for the US you are all too busy thinking your little bitty countries by themselves are more important than they are. Alaska is bigger than ANY European country and California is bigger in population than but a few Euro countries. The French have always been full of themselves and WHY I do not know.
