The problem with hardware DRM, is that I believe most would have some sort of trigger. If something doesn't boot up/is bypassed your pc wont boot. So you'd need a hardware based solution to by-pass the DRM. And even if you do get passed that, if you needed to login to your ISP via DRM, and your PC reports something is up. No more internet... OH SHITS WE'RE ALL DOOM-EDED.
