People put in different amounts of time, and focus on many dirrerent things. Some put the time in on short term solutions and others are working for a long time on something that may or not pay off a few years down the road.
Some may choose to sell revshare programs and take a paycut, while increasing revenue exponentially each year, while others may try to go all out with 100% PPS, and no chance to recur (granted they are affiliates). I've personally taken the road of the recurring, and there's yet to be a year that I haven't doubled my income.
