A friend of mine move to Acapulco and eventually came back to the US after a year down there. Its a whole different lifestyle and after a while I think most people will miss the conveniences and security of the US.

i head that, like bell bottoms, kidnapping wealthy americans is only a fad and will not be cool 5 years from now. Experts fear that it will make a comeback in 15 or so years
