I've traveled to the mid east in the past 3 years without problem. Palestine and the UAE, and I'm a Jew. Just make sure you have Canadian flags on most of your clothes and luggage, as you should almost anywhere in the world if you don't want people thinking your a moron. Arabs are not the raving lunatics they appear to be on US television.
