this suit should name two defendants, one the ex-boyfriend for defamation, etc and Yahoo for negligence, once a complaint was registered with Yahoo they should have responded by taking the profiles in question down, however due to the way Yahoo is strutured new profiles can be created as the old ones are removed, in the end the majority of the harm being done is by the ex, however Yahoo becomes liable after not removing the profiles. I dont think this will bring up any major issues for yahoo as they are not responsible for the content posted by others on their site. its kinda like saying the post office is responsible for damages caused by the unibomber because he mailed the bombs.
