Do they regularly lock down new customer accounts or am I just having my usual needle in a haystack luck?
On Sunday I registered 2 domains through them and put in for a transfer of 3 of my domains currently at DirectNic to them so I could use their Protectfly service on them.
I logged into the account a couple days ago and found the account locked. It gave me a risk@ email address to contact for details. I wrote to it and also checked my online banking and confirmed that my purchases at Registerfly had gone through and the money sent to them the day
before they locked the account.
I've not heard back from them, but yesterday I got the notices from DirectNic that the domains will be transferred within 3 days.
I am unable to call long distance from this phone (their risk dept. is not toll-free) so today I will either have to go to a relative's to call or go get a calling card and hope I can get through to someone. These are 3 domains that I really don't want to lose, so if I am unable to clear whatever is up with Registerfly I will have to put a cancel on the domain transfers.
Anyone else ever have a similar experience or have suggestions or contacts I might try to reach at Registerfly?
