Important - AP CTC webmasters please read

Can you guys post your questions before I email this to everyone?
==============================================

ClickPic program Good news and Bad News

Quick Summary:
-------------
CTC has been replaced with a higher-paying system, wait for old data to become available.

The Bad News:
------------
As you know, CTC has been down almost every day for a long while, with lost clicks, lost data, and no ability for us to fix it because we don't run it.

Now the CTC server is toast. The program is too big, there are too many webmasters for it, it uses old-fashioned custom log file analysis, and the people who wrote the software haven't worked there for 4 years. The log file analyzers just pin the server and don't allow any reports or anything else to run. CTC replaced the server and it made things worse.

The Good News:
-------------
We have replaced the CTC system with our own and it is running great and counting your clicks right now. Highlights include:

1. State of the art SQL databases and software, & hardware that is only using 2% of the cpu.

2. Real-time stats, no lost clicks, higher counts.

3. NO CHANGE in your linking or stats urls necessary.

More Good News:
--------------
1. We're giving every one 6 cents a click this month, and possibly next month too, as we are not displaying tracks yet. Send us all your traffic (follow the rules of course).

2. We're also going to give you 8 cents starting tomorrow for a week.

Other Important News:
--------------------
1. We pointed all CTC traffic to the new system yesterday, but we are waiting for the DNS change to propagate everywhere, this should take another day to be 98% done, some obscure hosts can take weeks to update their dns servers.

2. Your new stats are up now. There are no stats before yesterday. We will be retreiving stats from the old CTC system when it becomes available. You WILL be paid on every clickthru.

3. If your own PC still points to the old ctc, you can simply put a "1" after the ctc subdomain and reach the new one, as in
http://ctc1.amateurpages.com/cgi-bin...ts.cgi?ACCOUNT You can also change your links to ctc1 to avoid the dns propagation issue and all clicks will go the new system right away, but this is not really necessary.

4. Your account data, including referrers is being imported. Please be patient.

5. We cannot get a payout detail report from CTC, we've been trying since the 1st of June. We have summary reports and have already done payouts as accurately as possible from those reports. If you have any problems after you get your check, drop me an email: [email protected]
