A family member of mine is in Europe right now on a 10 day tour.
The price of the tour was around $5000.
The airline that misplaced the luggage is Delta.
For 6 days so far she has been without her luggage. She is basically there with nothing. One outfit. She bought more of course, but it is hard to stop and shop for clothes because the tour constantly on the move.
Anyone have this happen to them? What is the recourse here?
What can she expect to get out of the tour company or delta when she got back?
If it were me... I would settle for nothing less than the price of the tour refunded in full. 6 days without my luggage?? Ugh.
