lol everyone here is missing the point.

Your paysite should come up at the top for the name of your paysite etc... if you are coming up for generic search terms then you are doing great. I know of paysites that are like this.

We aren't talking about people who promote your paysite to their search engine traffic.... if an affilaite has the top spot for sex movies and is promoting your site great...

I am talking about the se spammers and review sites that purposely target the name of your site in hopes to appear above you for that term and get that traffic.

If you do some seo work on your paysite so that it comes up at the top of the search engines for the name of your paysite you will stop losing thousands of dollars and you won't lose any affiliates either. If an affiliate stop promoting you because you are on top of them then clearly the only sales they are sending to you were coming from being listed above you anyways.

Also... if these guys are on the 1st page (top 10) at all even if you are #1 spot - they will still be making sales.

I am not trying to say that affiliates are stealing your traffic and they have no right to (though paysite owners have said this to me before) - I'm trying to say that paysites don't need to be giving away this money to their affiliates. It makes more sense to their bottom line to get the traffic directly.
