I didn't think d70 was better than 300d except d70 had a little better lens coming with it (which didn't bother me at all) otherwise, both pretty much the same shit wouldn't make any diff (except the price is ofcourse few 100s cheaper for 300d and that's cos of the lens types) unless you are just too nit picky. 350d certainly looks better yet again, I bet you any money it's not gonna make any significant diff in quality of pics taken unless ofcourse you need larger prints that 8 megap can provide. For adult photography some of the P&S cams (example Nikon Coolpix, Fuji FinePix) would also work just fine then again for just a bit more money you could buy the SLRs now so why not SLR?
