In other words, the only reason GnR was ever considered that good was because everybody else sucked soooo bad, they're also-rans in the late 60's, early 70's when musical giants truly roamed the earth.
Incidentally, the Crue's first album 'Too Fast For Love' was pretty fucking cool.

In your opinion.
Appetite for Self Destruction is one of the best rock albums of all time. Everybody has their place in history and you and your opinion certainly can't take that away from GnR.
Led Zeppelin sucked ass IMO - Nazareth too soft and Thin Lizzy was alright.
Why make any comparisons at all? Each had their own thing going, it's a matter of taste and opinion.
