I have worked extremely close with MANY MANY of the content producers, resellers and just all around providers, so I think I have learned a thing or two about it. I have SEEN people get ripped off on content....... and in my opinion THIS is not one of those cases, as far as I can tell, and I have been following this for quite sometime now. ANY content producer, reseller or anyone dealing in content knows their rights, and ANY of you can attest that you can pull a license for just about any reason you see fit if you so choose to do so...... and I have SEEN many of you DO it..... even if it was paid in FULL, you can STILL pull that license anytime, so this shouldn't even be an issue on this... and ALL of you that deal in content know this as well as I do. I don't hold any issues for ANYONE in this, but all of you know it. Buyers of content, don't think because you bought that content that you are not going to be held accountable if it isn't used, because a Content Provider can yank that license at ANY given time if you break the terms of that license or you are misusing that content. Paid or NOT!

First off, I have done business very closely with Aaron for many years now, and I have to say, that he's really gone out of his way on this one. He takes people in sometimes and tries to give them a break, and yes he is harsh as hell at points, but WHO doesn't know this about him already? NO ONE, everyone knows how he is, he is straight up about everything and makes NO bones about a damn thing. And YES, he does get extremely harsh sometimes...... but again everyone knows this. BUT this doesn't make him a bad business man at all...... if you know this and still walk into a business deal, then you walk in knowing what you are getting. I have spent time with him and lord knows he has hurt MY feelings more times than I can count, but you know what? I asked for it each and every single time, I knew when I went to him he was going to shoot me straight, and I respect that in him, way more than I'd respect someone to just tell me what I WANT to hear.

Sonofsam, I don't know you at ALL, so I can't really make an honest opinion on your personality..... what I CAN say is that from where I can see, you got yourself in way over your head and you want out of it....... but you know what? When you have a car repossessed? You don't get to go tell the bank you want all the money you psent on it back. You entered into an agreement and couldn't pay the full amount so it was repossessed...... bottom line. I know it sucks, Ih ave had things repossessed myself at times and it hurts, but you don't get to get a refund.

Last, I see so many saying "he is a kid, cut him some slack", and I think of all of it, this is the one that is urking me the WORST. This is the ADULT Industry and it is BUSINESS, people...... if you are old enough to BE in the business and old enough to make business decisions, then you have to be old enough to accept the consequences when that business goes bad, trust me, I know..... I have had lots of deals go bad and I probably will again....... it happens to the best of us sometimes. But you don't get to say that "I shouldn't have to be responsible because I am a woman, a kid, handicapped, or anything else....." if you are of legal consenting age, then you have GOT to be prepared to deal with things when they don't work as well as the things that DO work.

When my kids screw up, they are held accountable for their actions and taught that for every action, there is a reaction.... and that is the same thing I am telling you here.

This CAN be resolved, I would be willing to bet, but the two of you need to get OFF this board and resolve it outside of this board. Involving other people is only serving to perpetuate this situation and others are putting their 2 cents in and making things that much worse. Aaron is a fair ghuy, as I can only assume that sonofsam is as well..... so this CAN be dealt with as adults.

NOTHING ever works out when you get others involved in it.... I have had my say in this. You are both adults and the ones here reading this thread aren't the only ones watching how you conduct yourselves in business, just remember that. Are you willing to burn THAT many bridges?
