Few things I have learned while reading this thread:
1. Sign contracts or send invoices with proper disclosure. Be sure to get such documents while in deal mode before sending over or receiving funds.
2. The lawyer clause is still alive and well.
3. Some canadians are really fucking dumb
4. Trolls are alive tonight.
5. Some issues will never be resolved.
